How Smoking Affects Your Lungs

Smoking is a dangerous and unhealthy activity that involves inhaling the smoke of burning tobacco. Many people start to smoke for various reasons, such as stress-relief, social pressure, or even just plain curiosity.

In the long run, smoking will negatively affect your body, especially the respiratory system.

When a person smokes, the dangerous substances in cigarettes such as tar, carbon monoxide, and nicotine enter the lungs.

Tar builds up over time inside the lungs, blocks the respiratory system, and hinders the flow of air, making it harder to breathe. Diseases such as chronic bronchitis or emphysema are caused by this phenomenon.

Nicotine also disrupts the work of alveoli, which are responsible for moving oxygen into, and carbon dioxide out of, the bloodstream. As a result, the person will often get tired easily and short on breath.

Moreover, smoking may increase the risk of lung cancer, one of if not the most lethal effect of long-term smoking.

Smoking is terrible for your lungs. Not only does it make you harder to breathe, but it also increases the risk of life threatening diseases.

It's better to quit smoking or avoid starting in the first place than deal with the various negative after-effects later on.

The Creation of the Seasons

Long ago, there was a lonely god residing in the Underworld. He spends his days watching over all the dead souls, ruling over the realm of the dead. He governs all aspects of death and the afterlife, ensuring the balance between life and death. He was so busy with his duties that he barely had any free time. One day, he decided to visit his brother, The God of Sky and Thunder, and went to the outside of the underworld. When The God of the Underworld arrived there, he saw a beautiful goddess in a meadow picking flowers. She was none other than his own niece, the daughter of his brother, The Goddess of Spring. The lonely god instantly fell in love with her and then asked his brother for permission to take her as his wife. The God of Sky and Thunder was neither in support nor against it.   However, he reminded the ruler of the underworld to be careful and cautious, because her mother, The Goddess of Harvest and Agriculture, would never agree to the idea of her daughter being taken awa...
